Leon Dacbert

Leon Dacbert is a dedicated Photographer. His approach to portraiture is delicate and passing resulting in images that are both personal and timeless. He cultivates his passion for photography by shooting whenever he can and reviewing and self critiquing his images. Using this reflective process for over 10 years has resulted in consistent results for intimate images that instill repose into the viewer.

He received a bachelor of Arts degree from Trinity University in 2012.

His artwork, Suburban Sprawl, 2012, 86'X24', is hung in the Trinity University Campus. He collaborated with Allison Skopec in the gallery Respose which was shown in the Niedorf Art Gallery at Trinity University in 2012. His photograph, LifeLong Friendship, 2011, was featured in Best of College Photography 2012. His Dyptic work was featured at the Trinity Artists Alumni Show Niedorf Art Gallery at Trinity University in 2017. His West Texas work will be shown at Tiny Topography: a group photography contact print exhibition at the Flight Gallery in September is 2018.
